Tai chi translates as supreme ultimate. Therefore tai chi horse translates as supreme ultimate horse.

This title gives an image in our mind of a powerful horse performing at their best. But how do we achieve this?

Tranquility in Motion
If we can make a union with our horse, and treat them as our equal, and not our slave, we can achieve incredible harmony.

By training the rider in tai chi, both the rider and the horse will benefit by improving the understanding of feel, or ting. Ting is a chinese word for listening. Listening, not just with our ears but with all our senses and our heart. I will expand on this on the ting page.

For the rider this will mean being able to feel what the horse is giving. For the horse it will mean less frequent, but more precise aids from a quiet still rider. The rider transcends limitations.

Every rider at every level has the ability to learn this technique.

This technique gives a much better, quieter unity with your horse, without the kicking, pulling and pushing that is seen too often in arenas and collecting rings around the world.

Giving constant niggling aids is an addiction.
The moment you resolve to stop feeding your horse suffering, a pathway appears, the pathway to well-being and harmony.
.
Your horse will thank you forever.
